::: Marc Armitage on tour – 2012 / 2013
Playwork defines play as “what children and young people do when they follow their own ideas and interests in their own way and for their own reasons”.
Marc Armitage has been a playworker for nearly thirty years, the last twenty plus as an independent and freelance playworking consultant and he has a solid reputation of being one of the leading experts on PLAY in the United Kingdom.
During August 2012 Marc visited Australia to conduct a series of seminars around Victoria, N.S.W. A.C.T. and Tasmania. The response from Australian educators to Marc’s tour was phenomenal thanks to the fact that not only is Marc an exceptionally well respected expert on PLAY, he is extremely engaging, highly motivational and very personable [okay he's really funny as well] and we are thrilled that he has agreed to return to Australia in May, July AND October in 2013 to continue touring around this big wide country of ours.
While we will once again be Marc’s tour managers, we have brought Natashja and Nicole from Inspired EC on board to help us co-ordinate the workshop bookings, presentations and conference engagements. These girls are dynamite and we are thrilled they are joining us.
Marc will be in the following states and Territories during his visits,
which will include his first trip to New Zealand …
