::: recycling playdough

We hadn’t thrown out the playdough from before the holidays and as it had become a bit dry and crumbly, we made a soft fresh batch for inside and popped the old lot outside under the verandah. We added an interesting basket of bits and pieces to encourage some pattern making that the children often don’t pursue when they have the rollers and cutters etc …

The children had a fabulous time and were really creative.

The shells were a particular hit.

You have to love this face!

 A 3D work of art.

Just gorgeous.

    ::: Playdough is priceless is’t it Lesley! 🙂 🙂

  2. Deb says:

    I have done this before then removed the items and provided paint and paper and encouraged the children to take prints of their creations.

    ::: That’s a great idea Deb! Thanks for sharing. 🙂 🙂
