::: memory lane – masking tape pictures
We find that you have to often think a little outside the square in order to encourage young children, especially boys to develop fine motor skills. Picking up a pen or paint brush is great but there are always going to be those children who aren’t interested in that type of activity.
We introduced our children to this terrific activity where we gave them black paper, white crayons and masking tape to create with. We had no idea where this would go but we were really blown away with what they made and WHO made them!

Oh what a lovely indoor follow up to using masking tape outside – thanks for reminding me!!!! Here’s the link to the first masking tape post I wrote http://creativestarlearning.blogspot.com/2011/03/magic-of-masking-tape.html
::: There’s something about masking tape that is so cool isn’t there Juliet and your children obviously LOVED taking it outside. It will be interesting to see haw they explore differently with it on paper … of course that could be done outdoors too!

Simple resources lead to such wonderful results. And you know how much I love using tape!
::: Like they say Scott … The simple things in life are often the best!
