::: more sensory tubs

We have always tried to included a lot of different sensory experiences in our children’s every day play …

Sometimes in a sensory tub.

Sometimes on the table with the edge around it …

and sometimes just where ever it is!

While visiting Highvale Preschool we saw that the children had created a very interesting sensory tub experience.

They had coloured some rice using black edicol dye and added magnetic and non magnetic items to the tub. How gorgeous does it look?!

Speaking of gorgeous sensory tubs, check out this beauty over at Teach Preschool, where Deborah is preparing to open up her brand new preschool!!

  1. sensory tubs are the best! in the summer, nothing beats good old fashioned water. the kids love experimenting to see what floats and what sinks. sometimes i’ll add natural essential oils for fragrance or food coloring for color.

    ::: Hmmmm … LOVE the idea of adding essential oils PLP! 🙂 🙂

    Thank you for including my sensory tables. I am so excited to put them to good use this fall!!

    ::: It’s a ripper Deborah … have fun with it! 🙂 🙂

    I like Garden In A box as it is something “safe” that all three of my cherubs would enjoy. Taleea loves our sensory tubs, but it has been a challenge coming up with ideas that are not tempting to put into her mouth and try and consume.

    Thank you for including our New Years tub.

    ::: Taleea is so ripe for exploring her world by sticking everything in her mouth Elise … We remember those challenges all too well!
