::: ringwood uniting kindergarten

Ringwood Uniting Kindergarten is connected to the Uniting Church, opposite Eastland Shopping Centre but on the other side of the railway line. It comprises sessional kindergarten for threes and fours and a separate section called Bialla which caters for children with disabilities.

On the day we visited there was a group of new and quite young four year olds who had only been at kinder for a couple of weeks.

The plethora of imaginative play stations was exactly what these children needed!

There was a jungle …

a beach scene (aren’t those fish gorgeous?) …

a frog pond …

water play …

a totally irresistible ice scene …

and of course a home corner!

There were also many other activities keeping these children busy, such as the colour torches …

locks and keys …

block construction …

and a tinkering table, with real tools for a real job!

We love the storage for all the little bits and pieces …

at their invention centre …

and the children were having a great time …

at the sensory activities.

The children were so engaged in their play while we were there  …

it was a pleasure to be a part of it!

Ringwood Uniting Kindergarten is located at 2 Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood – Victoria (Melway Reference).

::: It is lovely isn’t it Helen. We will post about the beautiful ice and rocks scene tomorrow! They are small fist sized rocks you get for gardens. 🙂 🙂

Oh Elizabeth your centre is looking spectacular! Well done! Pinching the lock idea as our keys go missing all the time – love it!

::: Alison a big factor in starting up this Education Directory is so people can find new and exciting ideas from others that they wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to come across! We’re thrilled to think it is working already! 🙂 🙂

I would love to know what they used for the top of their snail enclosure. It is fantastic.

::: Kelle we believe it is something Elizabeth picked up from her local Bunnings hardware store here in Melbourne. Some sort of plant terrarium. 🙂 🙂
