::: our edublog awards 2010 nomination

For those of you who may not be aware, irresistible ideas has been nominated by our peers and shortlisted in The Edublog awards 2010 under the category of Best Group Blog.

The blogs we are up against are seriously top notch. We are totally humbled to have been nominated, let alone short listed as we consider ourselves mere babes in the woods when it comes to blogging. Voting will be fierce and the opportunity to cast votes will expire on Tuesday the 14th December.

OK, so now for the hard sell!!! PLEASE VOTE FOR US!

You can do that right here by clicking on this edublog awards 2010 link. We need all the help we can get and would really appreciate your support. While you are voting for us, we would love you to also throw your support behind some other amazing early childhood blogs which are shortlisted in a selection of other categories.

Tom Hobson – Teacher Tom: Nominated in category of Best Teacher Blog. Please vote for Tom here!

Deborah J Stewart – Teach Preschool: Nominated in category of Best Individual Tweeter. Please vote for Deborah here!

As far as we know, no early years blog has ever won any category in the edublog awards which are now in their 7th  year. We don’t know for certain but it doesn’t appear that there are any other Australian blog sites shortlisted in the awards for 2010. If anyone is aware of any could you please let us know.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your magnificent support of  irresistible ideas over the last fifteen months, not only for following our blog, but also our Facebook page – over 2,000 fans in seven months has really blown us away!

We figure however we must be the smallest ‘group’ ever short listed in the “Best GROUP Blog” category! 🙂 🙂
