    Oh for a tardis…!

::: I’ve got to honest Rachel. I had to look up the meaning of tardis! :) :) The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space) is a time machine and spacecraft in the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who.

Wish I could fly over for the workshop. No chance of a distance learning course!!!
I really love your blog – it is a great way to publicise your work, and so many lovely ideas. i must say much reflects what we are doing here in our wee nursery in the UK…Keep it up ladies and Happy Christmas xx

::: Thanks Maria it’s nice to know we have similar teaching philosophies as our friends on the other side of the world! You have a happy Christmas too and take care in that crazy snow we hear you’re having over there! :) :)

  5. avatar Rachel says:

Sorry ladies, didn’t mean be confusing! You’re right, the Tardis is a time machine, used by a character on tv here in the uk, Dr Who. He can travel anywhere, any when…. I was just trying to say that I wish I could come to Melbourne. I think you have so many fabulous ideas and I feel right at home with your educational philosophy. I keep recommending your blog whenever I’m a guest speaker at early years events!

::: hee … hee … hee … No worries at all Rachel! Thanks to you we now have a ‘Tardis’ on the top of our Christmas wish list! ! Thank you for your recommendation of us too, we very much appreciate it. :) :)

  6. avatar Louise says:

Just can’t make it to Melbourne then – shearing intervenes at my place – but I know you’ll all have a great time. :)

::: Well we wouldn’t want to be responsible for your sheep overheating in their wooly coats Louise so maybe we will see you next time! :) :)

  7. avatar vanessa says:

just wondering where the workshop will be held to see if is practical for me to attend?

::: We have emailed you Vanessa. :) :)

  8. avatar Melissa says:

Goodness, gracious! This is so important!! We need more opportunities to learn how to honor the ways in which boys learn!!!

Let us know if you are going to make your workshop available in formats that others of us who cannot travel to AU can use. Thanks for all you do.

P.S. I would LOVE to see more discussion on play-based learning strategies for kids across the many different age groups, not just very early childhood!!!!!

::: Thanks for your interest Vanessa! We’ll have to see what we can do. :) :)

  9. avatar Gail says:
