::: bottle top fridge magnets
We have heaps of colorful bottle tops from juice and milk bottles …

so we pulled them out to make Christmas fridge magnets.

Children can’t get enough of glitz so with the bottle tops we popped out sequins and stars.

Add a big swoosh of P.V.A. glue …

decorate, decorate, decorate …

a magnet on the back …

and voila! Some pretty nifty Christmas fridge magnets!

These look FAB – especially all together. Just a couple of questions… Are your magnets self-adhesive? Can you cut them to fit? Where do you get them? Thanks.
::: Julie the magnets we used were pre cut and self adhesive which we got from our local office supplier. You can however buy it on a roll so you can cut it to any length from places like Office Works. We’re not sure if this is self adhesive or not … we don’t think so.

Gorgeous ladies! I keep all the Real estate calenders and pizza takeaway menus and pull the magnets off the back and reuse them for activities like this. With my overload of bottle tops I drilled holes in them and the children loved threading some groovy looking and very individual necklaces!! Lovely activity ladies!
::: Thanks Karen. We love your ideas too!

ANOTHER great idea ! and the magnetic tape I have bought on rolls is sticky – but I usually add a little sticky tape if it’s going to be on something that bends – as the stickiness isn’t great…
::: Good on you … Thanks for that Louise!

Thanks for this fun craft, I better start collecting caps to get these fun holiday gifts ready in time at school!
::: Miss Merril we reckon if put the call out on Monday to the children to bring along bottle caps, by Wednesday you’ll be ready to start creating!
