::: self sticking collages

Over the holidays we managed to find these great foam shapes from Reverse Art.

The back peels off to reveal a lovely sticky surface which just begs to be decorated!

We popped out baskets of goodies for the children to go to town with.

They peeled of the backing paper …

and soon discovered just how sticky they were!

The children (and secretly the two of us) loved that glue was not needed!.

No mess!

No fuss!

Just lots …

and lots …

and LOTS …

of three dimensional FUN!

Now THEY are irresistible!

These are fabulous. I love that the kids thought to stand things up instead of lying everything flat on the surface.
::: Like we’ve said before Catherine … they always come up with the best ideas!

I agree, irresistible.
I like using contact paper for the same reason. It’s already sticky and no glue is needed. But I don’t think we could do THIS with contact paper. It’s too flimsy for these creations!
::: You’re right Scott contact paper it wouldn’t hold the weight the way the foam pads do. We use contact with coloured cellophane to make “stained glass windows” and they look beautiful!

::: ‘V’ we picked up the sticky foam pads from ‘Revers Art Truck’, a local recycling depot.
